George Markopoulos has been a Waterman for almost 30 years on the Delmarva, Hatteras, Florida, Kauai and on Maui. He is a sponsored team rider, an ACA (American Canoe Assocation) certified SUP Instructor, WPA Certified SUP Instructor, PaddleFit Level 2 Instructor, ASI Level 3 Certified SUP Instructor and a US Sailing Certified Windsurf Instructor. He is an avid lover of the wind, water and waves. All who know him know that "if it's blowin', he's goin'"...windsurfing that is.

In his prior life, George was an accountant and CPA. He earned his masters degree in International Management from the University of Maryland, but you would never know. He is definitely not the stereotypical accountant. His accounting skills sure do come in handy as he manages finance/accounting and H/R for DBSA in his spare time. George has a daughter, Kristin, who is currently going to college in Texas to become a teacher.

Janis Markopoulos is the visionary of the business.  She manages the reservations desk, the beach concession, all marketing, purchasing, merchandising and special events. She is known for providing unparalleled customer service. She also provides most of the photography for George's Blog and for special events such as the Hatteras Wave Jam. Some of her best work is featured in Windsurfing International, Windsport, Windsurfing Magazine and The New England Windsurfing Journal. Janis has 25+ years of retail I.T. experience implementing retail point of sale systems, CRM systems, inventory control systems, reservation systems, social media systems and eMarketing systems such as Constant Contact eMarketing. Janis is often called a Marketing dynamo.

On cold, rainy days, you'll find Janis scrapbooking or creating newsletters for Delmarva Board Sports. She's super proud of her daughter, Lauren, who has a degree in Psychology from St. Mary's College of Maryland and is now employed with the college as their Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. Janis is an alumni of ABK Boardsports Windsurfing camp. She also serves on the board for Southern Delaware Tourism in an advisory role.

Keith has been in, on, or under water for the past 20 + years as a Lifeguard, scuba diver, USCG Rescue Swimmer, body board and SUP surfer. Keith now instructs Water Safety courses for lifeguards, and guides SUP tours. Keith always believes that the water should be both fun and safe.

Carole is beginning her second year with us as our SUP YOGA instructor.  She is co-owner of Dewey Beach yoga. In addition to SUP YOGA, Carole and her partner David offer daily yoga daily in Dewey Beach at 8 a.m (Dickenson Street, oceanside).  Dewey Beach yoga offers Private Classes, Drum Circle, Bachelorette & Celebration Yoga.  You can follow their Facebook Page at DeweyBeachYoga.

Brian Roberts specializes in Saltwater Fly Fishing on his BOTE HD. Brian is one of the Most Successful Fishermen in the World as he has won several fishing tournaments including the 2010 White Marlin Open with his giant 97.5lb White Marlin worth $857,000! He owns and operates White Marlin Outfitters and is a trout unlimited endorsed fishing guide who specializes in saltwater fly fishing excursions.
